Acceptance

By using this service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.

What the service is

The service measures geometric proportions in a photograph you supply and maps those measurements onto a numeric scale. The detection and the arithmetic run in your browser; see the Privacy Policy for what that means for your photo.

Paid reports add AI interpretations and styling previews to measurements from the original photo. They are available in English at launch. Recommendations are optional and results vary. Styling previews are illustrative and may differ from your actual appearance. They do not predict a future score or change in facial structure.

It is currently a beta. The scale is still being calibrated against real photographs, so the tier labels and numbers will shift as more data arrives. Results you see today are provisional by design, and we say so on the result itself rather than only here.

What the service is not

This is the part worth reading twice.

• It is not a medical, psychological, or health assessment. It diagnoses nothing and screens for nothing.
• It is not surgical or medical treatment advice. Paid reports offer optional grooming and styling suggestions. A measurement from this tool is not a reason to pursue cosmetic or medical procedures.
• It is not a measure of your worth, attractiveness to any particular person, or social outcome. It measures distances and areas in one image.

Percentiles compare your photo with a dataset of real face photos and show where your score sits among those faces.

A photograph is not a face. Lens focal length, distance, angle, and lighting all move these numbers measurably. Treat a result as a measurement of one image under one set of conditions.

If you are distressed about your appearance, this tool is not the right place to look for reassurance, and no number it produces should be treated as a verdict. Please talk to a qualified professional.

Acceptable use

Do not:

• Upload photographs of other people without their knowledge and agreement.
• Use the service to harass, rank, rate, or humiliate anyone.
• Attempt to disrupt the service, or submit fabricated calibration data with the intent of distorting the scale for other users.
• Scrape, resell, or present the output as a product of your own.

Accounts and payment

You can use the free scan without buying a report. The English report is a one-time US$9.90 purchase, with no subscription, available to people aged 18 or older using a photo of their own face. Before upload and checkout, you must confirm that you are 18 or older, that the photo is your own face, and that you consent to the described processing. You can pay as a guest, view the report in the same browser and bind it to an account later. Guest browser access lasts up to 30 days; binding an account lets you return on other devices. If you lose guest access before binding, contact support with your payment receipt. The purchase confirmation shows what is included before you pay. AI report generation begins after payment is confirmed.

You can request a full refund within seven days of payment by choosing a reason on your report page. Requests are reviewed; submitting a request does not automatically issue a refund. If approved, the full payment is returned through Stripe to the original payment method. Contact support@looksmaxscale.com if you cannot access your report or need help with a request.

Availability

We may update or temporarily suspend the service. If a purchased report cannot be generated or accessed, contact support@looksmaxscale.com or use the refund request on your report page. Deleting a report removes access to it and deletes the image files in our storage. To remove retained text and measurement records, email us as described in the Privacy Policy. Payment and refund records are handled separately.

Intellectual property

You retain the rights to your photographs. When you start a paid report, you allow us and the processing providers described in the Privacy Policy to use the uploaded photo to provide that report and its previews. The site, its code, scoring method and original copy remain ours.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of results.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, or from decisions made on the basis of its output. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, in which case they apply only as far as the law permits.

Changes

We may revise these terms. The date at the top moves when we do, and material changes will be stated plainly rather than buried.
