Terms of Service

What this tool is, what it is not, and the limits of what a measurement of one photograph can tell you.

Last updated: 2026-07-27

Acceptance

By using this service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.

What the service is

The service measures geometric proportions in a photograph you supply and maps those measurements onto a numeric scale. The detection and the arithmetic run in your browser; see the Privacy Policy for what that means for your photo.

It is currently a beta. The scale is still being calibrated against real photographs, so the tier labels and numbers will shift as more data arrives. Results you see today are provisional by design, and we say so on the result itself rather than only here.

What the service is not

This is the part worth reading twice.

  • It is not a medical, psychological, or health assessment. It diagnoses nothing and screens for nothing.
  • It is not cosmetic, surgical, or treatment advice. We do not recommend procedures, products, or regimens, and a number from this tool is not a reason to pursue any of them.
  • It is not a measure of your worth, attractiveness to any particular person, or social outcome. It measures distances and areas in one image.
  • It is not a percentile or ranking against any population. We make no claim about where you fall relative to anyone else, because we have no dataset that would support such a claim.

A photograph is not a face. Lens focal length, distance, angle, and lighting all move these numbers measurably. Treat a result as a measurement of one image under one set of conditions.

If you are distressed about your appearance, this tool is not the right place to look for reassurance, and no number it produces should be treated as a verdict. Please talk to a qualified professional.

Acceptable use

Do not:

  • Upload photographs of other people without their knowledge and agreement.
  • Use the service to harass, rank, rate, or humiliate anyone.
  • Attempt to disrupt the service, or submit fabricated calibration data with the intent of distorting the scale for other users.
  • Scrape, resell, or present the output as a product of your own.

Accounts and payment

The trial has neither. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to pay. If that changes, these terms change first.

Availability

This is a free beta with no uptime commitment. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time. Since there are no accounts and no payments, there is nothing to refund and nothing of yours to lose on our side.

Intellectual property

You keep every right in the photographs you use — which is straightforward here, because we never receive them. The site, its code, its scoring method, and its copy remain ours.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of results.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, or from decisions made on the basis of its output. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, in which case they apply only as far as the law permits.

Changes

We may revise these terms. The date at the top moves when we do, and material changes will be stated plainly rather than buried.
